About Rampart Search & Rescue
Rampart Search & Rescue provides search and rescue assistance, free of charge, to any local, county, state and federal agencies for; missing persons, rescue stranded motorist during adverse weather and any assistance for a natural or man-made disaster related emergencies. We work under the supervision of the Adam's County Sheriff's Department. Rampart search and rescue has responded to Adams County emergencies since 1999. Also serving Lincoln, county in Colorado. If you need our services call 911 and ask for search and rescue or call us directly at 303-227-1574. Our services are always free to any individual or agency in need of our services. The members of the team are unpaid volunteers selected from the community. We accept applications year-round for both Adult and our Cadet program (10 - 20 years old). Our 4x4 Team: - Look for stranded motorist on I-70 from E470 to the Kansas state line. - Conducts day and night mobile SAR operation, sometimes during adverse weather conditions, in both urban and wilderness environments. Main Team: - Searches for children, the elderly, vehicles, lost hunters and downed aircraft. - Provides off-road rough terrain transportation for SAR personnel, search dogs, supplies, equipment and radio repeater systems to remote sites for emergencies. - Is utilized in natural disasters as well as searches for lost subjects. Search Dogs (K9s): - We have 5 K9s that are available to any Public Safety agency when requested. - We have 1 that is a cadaver K9 Drone Team: We now have a Drone team with several units, one that has FLIR (night heat seeking) also available free of charge to any Public Safety Agency. Bike Team: - Used at the Adams County Fair - They have been involved in evidence searches.
