About Ramstein Bazaar

The Ramstein Bazaar began as a community fundraiser in 1965 and has since grown into being not only the favorite KMC annual event, but also grown to be the world's largest Department of Defense Bazaar: a four-day, multinational extravaganza featuring over 140 retail vendors and 29 food vendors, as well as entertainment and community sponsors. In addition, the bazaar is supported by over 400 volunteers a day. Still a community fundraiser, every penny of the Ramstein Bazaar's net proceeds benefits the Kaiserslautern Military Community in the following calendar year. Beneficiaries of those proceeds include student and spouse scholarship recipients, Boy and Girl Scouts, youth and community programs, and more — all thanks to the KMC patrons' generous support. In 2018, several millions of dollars in sales allowed the Bazaar to raise over $310,000 to give directly back to the community.
