From humble beginnings in a small shop in Hennessey, Okla., to a state-of-the-art 35,000 square foot building in the heart of NASCAR racing country, Statesville, N.C., Randy Moss Motorsports grew from the vision of David Dollar. After 10 years and overwhelming success as an owner of limited late models, Dollar decided to turn his ownership efforts to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS). In 1997 Dollar was introduced to a young racer named Rob Morgan and the introduction resulted in Morgan joining Dollar as a partner to run full-time in the NCWTS. In 1998, Morgan Dollar Motorsports was formed and headquartered out of Dollar’s Oklahome shop with Morgan as the driver for the 1999 and 200 seasons before making the decision to retire. Veteran driver Dennis Setzer got behind the wheel of the Morgan Dollar Motorsports entry in 2001 netting the team instant results with a trip to Victory Lane at Memphis Motorsports Park in June 2001. Setzer finished runner-up in the NCWTS standings in 2003, 2004 and 2005. Ten years after entering the NASCAR arena, Dollar was presented with the opportunity to bring in NFL All-Pro Wide Receiver Randy Moss on as a partner and Randy Moss Motorsports (RMM) was formed on July 3, 2008. By 2009, RMM grew into a two-truck Toyota organization. 1995 Truck Series Champion Mike Skinner was chosen to drive the No. 5 Toyota Tundra, while Raybestos Rookie of the Year Contender Tayler Malsam got behind the wheel of the No. 25 Toyota Tundra.
