With over175 years of experience in the field of natural products, Ransom Naturals Ltd (RNL) is a leading developer and manufacturer of botanical extracts for the Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Personal Care and Food & Beverage industries. Our product portfolio includes active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), excipients and botanical extracts which deliver flavour and functionality in food and beverages. In 2007, the Company achieved GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) accreditation, becoming one of the first UK based pharmaceutical companies manufacturing Herbal Extracts as Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients to receive this quality standard. Our facility, a short distance north of London, is a GMP compliant site approved by the Medicines and Health Regulatory Authority of the United Kingdom. With a vast amount of natural product experience we are strong in product, process and method development, from laboratory initiation through scale up to full commercial production. Sound finished formulation knowledge means we are perfectly positioned to deliver customer specific project solutions in full and on time. In addition, we also characterise, quantify and standardise APIs to the exacting requirements of a wide range of pharmacopeial and/or customer in house specifications. Furthermore, we offer a full regulatory support service up to and including license submission. Our products are available in liquid, semi-solid (soft) and powdered formats to satisfy the needs of different markets. Ransom Naturals has successfully partnered traditional methods with an innovative approach to new product development. It has done so by adapting and harnessing the latest in scientific techniques in order to continue to meet the ever-changing needs of markets and customers while staying true to its natural heritage.
