About RAP

R.A.P Academy is a “Music Communication ‘N’ Life Skills programme that uses music as a vehicle to help encourage young people back towards education and employment. The fundamental aim of the project is not to turn young people into professional musicians, but to help them grasp a sense of purpose and develop a desire to make something of their lives. RAP Mentors work with young people that are at risk of and involved in serious gang based violence, bringing together the expertise of the Metropolitan Police Service and councils, the Home Office, the Probation Service, local Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnerships and the Government Office for London to deliver schemes that they cannot deliver alone. RAP Records is a Record Label with a difference. Having been and seen the difficulties and restrictions that can occur from the wrong Record Deal, I decided to open my own record company”. RAP Records is primarily for the Youth, supporting your average Joe by lending a helping hand to climb on the recording ladder. We provide consultations in regards to the music industry, offer Management Support, and carry out Music Seminars, The full ‘shebang’ and it’s free. RAP Church is an innovative contemporary Cyber Church; Targeted at the large percentage of Children and Young People that don’t regularly or currently attend a church. It’s a half an hour long TV Programme on once a week (Still currently under constriction) Literally Church Without Walls.
