First constructed in 1964, the RPC has seen a variety of performers, speakers, and artists to include President Ronald Reagan, Martin Luther King Jr., Elvis Presley, Willie Nelson, Alabama, and many more. The $23.5 million renovation completed in 2017 added style and efficiency to this great facility. The building now features 4 meeting room, 6 multi-purpose rooms, a catering kitchen, 4 locker rooms, 10 luxury suites, new office space and ticket booths, as well as a merchandise store to get your RPC memorabilia. Located in the heart of Louisiana in Alexandria, the Rapides Parish Coliseum (RPC) hosts an array of events with I-49 just minutes away, creating easy travel from I-10 to I-20. Alexandria is also serviced by the Alexandria International Airport, which services commuter, corporate, and private aircrafts. The Rapides Parish Coliseum boasts the ability to host as many as 10,000 people.
