About Rashut Ha'Rabim

Rashut Ha’Rabim is an umbrella organization for the renewal of Jewish life in Jerusalem. Working in partnership with more than 40 Israeli and Jewish institutions across religious denominations, it promotes pluralism, tolerance, and a city open to all. The organization’s fundamental objective is to provide a space for greater cooperation, collaboration, and cohesion across all sectors of Jewish pluralistic civil society, working to transform Jerusalem into a city for all its Jewish inhabitants. In addition, and thanks to the groundbreaking work it is doing within Jerusalem, Rashut Ha’Rabim is also able to positively impact world Jewry, taking its vision of pluralistic Jewish transformation from the local to the global level. Thanks to its collaboration with the Jerusalem Municipality, Rashut Ha’Rabim enables member organizations and the community at large to benefit from municipal resources and to become active participants in the revitalization of Jerusalem. Rashut Harabim’s innovation is reflected in the establishment of a physical space that is available to Jerusalem’s diverse Jewish organizations and communities, from secular to Orthodox, that share a Jewish pluralistic worldview. Beit Rashut Ha’Rabim, established in October 2018, is a hub for the cross-fertilization of ideas and home to a wide range of community programs and events, offering an affordable shared workspace as well as professional support and training for Jewish organizations, activists, and entrepreneurs in Jerusalem and beyond!
