About RASK Collective
RASK is a collective of young Icelandic artists that work at the intersection of art and technology. Our objectives are: To make media art accessible To explore the boundaries between different art forms To promote technological development in arts To create a collaborative network between artists of different disciplines To offer a platform in Reykjavik for experimentation and new media art RASK was founded in 2015 by Jökull Máni Reynisson and Sóley Sigurjónsdóttir with the main objective to create sound generative dance performances. As a duo, they have been active in collaborating with artists of various backgrounds to further explore the possibilities in the utilization of technology as a creative medium. RASK was a part of Creative Summer groups in Reykjavík in 2017. Since 2019, RASK has been working as a collaborative platform and event series happening in Reykjavik. The collective is open to anyone who is interested in making and promoting interdisciplinary art, new media and innovation.
