About rave the planet

Rave The Planet is a Berlin based non-profit organization (gGmbH) dedicated to the spirit and culture of electronic music. Our initiators are artists, ravers, entrepreneurs – including the father of the Love Parade, Dr. Motte. With our work we want to make a sustainable, positive contribution to techno culture. MISSION We raise awareness, promote openness and connect creative professionals in order to enable electronic music culture to continue to develop. Step by step, we aim to deepen understanding and increase public acceptance of this culture. VISION Our vision is for techno to be officially recognized as a cultural form. Berlin’s techno culture, with its special features and characteristics, should be protected by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage. Clubs and other venues will be saved and cultural creators will be supported, so that the culture will be preserved and can develop further. With a new, big parade in Berlin we would like to continue the tradition of the Loveparade, as an annual celebration of electronic music culture. Culture creators worldwide should be inspired to organize their own parades on the same day and so unite the whole world peacefully dancing together. Rave the planet.
