About Ravintola Muru
Restaurant Muru is a small bistro style restaurant located in the heart of Helsinki at corner of Fredrikinkatu and Lönnrotinkatu. Muru’s idea is to offer fresh well made food from the best ingredients available daily. Owners Samuil Angelov, Henri Alen and Timo Linnamäki are all long term professionals who founded Muru restaurant in 2010. It was a instant hit. Muru was chosen as “restaurant of the year 2012” by Gastronomic society. Muru is not a stiff finedining restaurant; we are fundining. Welcome! Our philosophy in food is simple. To try to find the best ingredients, cook them ala minute and serve them. Our cuisine is based strongly in French-cuisine with some Italian twist. The menu changes all the time. Our aim is to make people happy, not to invent wheel again. We mostly serve European wines and champagnes to accompany our classic cuisine. Our chilled wine cantine on the roof of the restaurant also includes some really prestige vintages.
