Rayan Employment Center was established in 2014 and is funded and managed by the working arm of the Ministry of Economy and is operated by the Jerusalem Municipality. Our vision: To provide guidance and assistance in the employment and professional field to the residents of east Jerusalem. Our mission: To lower the unemployment rate and integrate the residents into the labor market, by increasing the sense of ability and raising awareness of employment issues and its unique characteristics in the city. The center aims to help its participants find a job that suits their abilities and skills. It also strives to help raise the level of the participants professionalism through workshops, courses and professional training which are tailored to the needs of the participants, as well as to the needs of the East Jerusalem labor market. Services are given to the age of 17 and above. Our values: Belonging, quality, Proactivity, Services, professionalism. Our services include: Individual Guidance, Courses & workshops, Vocational training, recruitment, post recruitment guidance, academic programs, employer’s relations, worker’s rights awareness, disabled people programs, entrepreneurship orientation, government assistance tools, community relations, technology recruitment and innovation. Our courses include: • Hebrew courses and development of conversational skills. • Personal skills development workshops. • Skills training courses. • Preparation for the business market. • Guidance to attain high quality jobs. • Diagnosis of occupational tendencies. •Vocational training. • Academic courses/ Hi-Tech Courses. • Vouchers for professional studies.
