The Raymond James Canada Foundation (RJCF) manages the philanthropic work of Raymond James Ltd., one of Canada’s largest independent wealth management companies. The RJCF was created to serve as a catalyst to mobilize the resources of Raymond James and our people at both the corporate and grassroots levels. Raymond James Ltd. and its employees and associates share a desire to give back to the communities in which we live and work, and beyond. At the corporate level we support a vast number of charitable organizations across Canada. Since the Raymond James Canada Foundation commenced operations in September 2012, the generosity of individual associates and corporate contributions from Raymond James have collectively directed more than $6.8 Million to support approximately 1000 charitable causes in communities across the country, as well as disaster relief efforts at home and abroad. We are very proud that Raymond James Ltd. has been recognized by Imagine Canada as a Caring Company for signing the Caring Company Commitment and demonstrating leadership in community investment. It stands to reason that a company committed to giving back and making a difference would establish a foundation to better manage these efforts. Moreover, having our own foundation also allows us to assist Raymond James Ltd.’s clients with their charitable giving, helping to transform it into strategic philanthropy.
