Raymond James (USA) Ltd. (RJLU) is a Canadian corporation headquartered in Vancouver, BC. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Raymond James Ltd. (RJL). RJLU is a broker-dealer registered with FINRA and the SEC, and also operates as a registered investment advisor with the SEC. Although it accesses the Canadian securities markets, its clients are mainly U.S. residents. It is not registered in Canada as a Canadian dealer. Raymond James Ltd., RJLU’s parent company, is the Canadian subsidiary of Raymond James Financial Inc. Established in 1962, Raymond James Financial made its initial public offering in 1983 and is listed on the New York Stock Exchange using the ticker symbol RJF. Through three brokers/dealers, 9,500 financial advisors serve approximately 3 million client accounts across approximately 2,500 locations throughout the United States, Canada, and internationally.
