About RCSI Research Skills Society

The Research Skills Society aims to provide you with many opportunities to enhance your research skills through liaising with RCSI faculty and other societies. We host many events to target improving students applications, qualifications, skills and preparedness for research positions, as well as workshops on using computer programs such as EndNote and STATA, on improving lab skills, and on presenting research. The primary purpose of the Research Skills Society is to help students engage in research by enhancing their research skills and increasing their opportunity, knowledge and preparedness to carry out research with Principal Investigators. Our second objective is to increase the number and quality of student research outputs and therefore make the collaboration between PI and student researcher a more fruitful and successful experience for both parties.
