About Re-Instate
Re-Instate is a charity working to improve employment opportunities, quality of life and well-being for people experiencing mental ill-health, people with learning disabilities and young people. A key part of the vision for Re-Instate is the provision of employment services that build sustainable recovery for people experiencing mental ill-health. -Re-Instates Employment Service supports people experiencing mental ill health to access and retain paid work, education, training, work placements and volunteering. Working in partnership with Mind in Bexley and Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust we are commissioned to deliver an innovative range of supported employment services. - Our Community Hub is based in Erith, Bexley. We operate our Social Enterprise and also offer cost effective training space for community groups and organisations. -Basils our community café and refreshment area, is staffed by people gaining valuable work experience, paid work and accredited training in safer food handling, customer service and much more. - Re-Instate runs a series of in-house accredited and non-accredited employability courses courses to support clients to meet their work goals. -Re-Instates W-rap™ Project (Well-being, Recovery, Activity Parcels) is entirely co-produced and managed by people who use our services. During one of our ideas groups clients said they wanted a better quality of toiletries and some practical items/activities for long term hospital stays. After being awarded funding by first South London and the Maudsley Hospitals ‘Smile’ Campaign, the story began... - If you are looking for cost effective room hire for up to 60 people in the North of Bexley Borough, we may have just space for you. Available for meetings, training and social gatherings. Catering can be arranged through Basils Community Café.
