The RE/MAX Property Associates office in Table View was one of the pioneer branches of RE/MAX of Southern Africa bought by Trevor Courtney. The first real estate agent to join the office was Joan Smith, who is still a successful agent today at RE/MAX Property Associates An Ownership/Management change came about in 2004/2005 when José De Abreu and Caron Leslie purchased the franchise as partners – both still remain as Broker/Owners today. After the acquisition, the branch experienced major agent growth, huge community involvement and a massive increase in market share. Today RE/MAX Property Associates has over 60% market share in the area in which they operate. RE/MAX Property Associates have won multiple awards since opening, recognised by RE/MAX of Southern Africa as the Top Sales office Nationally, Top Recruiters, Broker/Owner of the Year and recipient of the Passion Award, to name a few. Highlights would have to be the awards won internationally on several occasions for the office with the Top Transaction Sides and Number of Agents, outside of North America. To receive these awards at the International RE/MAX Convention in Las Vegas as the number one office in these categories has to be tops.
