About REACH Organization
REACH: A non-governmental and civil society organization it's an independent non-profit organization, Based in Syria - Idlib - Hazano - working across Syria and Turkey as part of the Syrian humanitarian response. REACH was founded at November 2015 in response to this unfolding human tragedy of the Syrian civil war. We firmly believe in "Rehabilitation, Education, Aid, consulting, Health" and Capacity Building of local NGOs and of local communities themselves to take the lead in addressing their own challenges. We believe that when we develop local organizations and local communities, we help them provide the best services to people in need, become better funded to carry out their functions and ensure their sustainability. At the same time, we believe that when we empower people, local communities are left in better shape in the long run. It immediately became clear to REACH that despite the well-meaning efforts of civil society organizations to stem this humanitarian crisis, most of the effort was impeded by lack of capacity, expertise and knowledge, which made many efforts to help ineffective. In order to address this skills, consulting, knowledge and capacity gap, REACH has established training programs that empower local community on the ground to meet the needs of the people of Syria. REACH mission is to help the affected people and communities in times of crisis in Syria and everywhere in order to recover, survival and developed. And enable the local organizations, empower human capital and strengthen institutional qualities by disseminating knowledge, providing capacity developmental solutions, organizing capacity programs according quality policies and standards.
