We need a healthcare system that enables and supports us from the moment we are informed of a special needs diagnosis. Today, there is no structure, no journey that helps us navigate through our medical system and beyond in our everyday life. We are making the most of the fragmented information available to us thanks to the internet research and parent support groups. What’s missing is one system, one interface, that puts everything together and guides us through our parenting journey. What a lot of people miss to understand is that when we’re working with our children with additional needs we don’t need one general physician or a pediatrician or a therapist. Multiple aspects need to be monitored and tested periodically. We need a team of specialists, and a proactive process to take care of our children. We understand that taking care of our children calls for a slightly different journey. And it is with this in mind that we are creating a system for families with persons of special needs. This system will reach out to you, stand by you, support you, and enable you at every life stage. By carefully assessing needs in India, taking best practices examples from developed nations, and setting them in context to India, we are trying to define a path for you (and us) to take care of our children at every life stage. REY Here at Reaching and Enabling You (REY), we’re doing our part to ensure that every family has a supportive team of specialists working with them in taking care of children. We want to create a single platform, a system, that serves the needs of all families, so that you can focus on what matters the most - taking care of your child, for everything else there’s REY.
