About Ready To Empower
Ready To Empower is a Non-Profit Organization that is dedicated to providing developing non-profit organizations with the necessary tools to support at-risk women to restore hope and self-reliance. We do this by providing funding for health care needs, startup business services and community centers. Doing this, women will have the tools they need to work their way out of poverty. Our commitment is to empower and foster the independence necessary to allow women to reach their full potentials. Founder Amanda Ready visited San Ramón, Costa Rica in 2013. During her trip, she was introduced to a group of amazing women who she unfortunately found to be uneducated, without adequate health care, and living in poverty with no long-term support. Amanda immediately recognized that the women needed and deserved to be helped and empowered. Having experience as a psychologist she was able to set up small support systems, including mental health counseling, job training, advocacy for victims of domestic violence and abuse, fitness classes, emergency relief support, and more. What started out as 25 women requesting guidance and support quickly became over 200. As the number of women increased, Amanda realized she needed additional support. Thus, Ready to Empower Inc. was established. A Non-Profit Organization dedicated to empowering women by encouraging self-reliance, restoring hope, and increasing self-worth. RTE equips women with the tools necessary to help them work their way out of poverty. Are you Ready To Empower?
