Psychiatric care where quality of care is matched with convenience. It's really as simple as that. Telepsychiatry has been around prior to the pandemic and was growing rapidly. Now it has become the standard, for the foreseeable future. Appointments are made easy with the use of a smartphone or a computer. We use only secure, encrypted, HIPAA compliant methods of communication past the initial contact. Due to the nature of the format of treatment, please be advised that we require all our patients to be frequently seen especially during the first month to custom-tailor your treatment plan and properly assess. Telepsychiatry is an excellent option if you suffer from disorders on the spectrums of anxiety, depression, ADHD and in some cases, PTSD. Telepsychiatry is likely not an appropriate option of you suffer from psychotic disorders/schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, have active substance abuse / addiction problems and active self-harm. Benzodiazepines are generally not started in this practice. We are only taking new patients who are residents of the New York area. Our out-of-network rates are $300 for initial evaluation and $150 for follow-up appointments.
