Hello! We are Dr Lucy Burns and Dr Mary Barson and we co-founded Real Life Medicine to help in the battle of chronic disease sweeping our country. Metabolic disease such as Diabetes, Fatty Liver, Hypertension and Obesity can be reversed by addressing lifestyle factors. We help everyone but our passion is helping women just like us. We help women go from overwhelmed and overweight to in control and full of health. We have both been overweight and tried every diet known to (wo)man. The result was "weight off weight on." Through our training in both medicine and mental health, we have developed a holistic program that addresses the physiology and psychology of overweight and obesity so you can get off the dieting merry-go-round for ever. We run this program in our clinics but now also online. We provide a beautiful nurturing place for women to let go of the stigma associated with body image while also addressing the underlying causes that help them regain their health and reverse chronic disease.
