About Real Patisserie
Founded in 1997 by Alastair Gourlay, we are local to the Brighton, Hove & the Sussex area & pride ourselves on being an artisanal provider of fresh Bakery, Pastries, high end Patisserie, freshly made Savouries & other resale items all sourced as close as possible. We operate our own shops & provide a wholesale supply service for other local independent businesses. Each & every day we open we bake our Pastries fresh on the premises as well as our delicious French style Baguettes sold whole or used for our Savouries, you can "Taste The Difference". We are the home of "The Chewy Brown" as featured in the media, like all our breads it's baked overnight & delivered fresh from our state of the art Bakery. We are ethical & sustainable. We are welcoming & inclusive, being courteous & respectful in everything we do, & maintain kindness in all our shops & bakery. As a group we pay above minimum wage, value our team members, have a professional employee assistance programme with counselling services, & partner with many local charities & community organisations including schools, St Mungos & others. We also offer "NHS" & "NUS" discounts for our shop customers.
