About Real Radiology

Real Radiology is primarily owned and operated by practicing radiologists Jon Jaksha M.D. and Mohammed Quraishi M.D.. Dr. Jaksha and Dr. Quraishi met at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Since then, they have acquired 40+ years of radiology experience giving them unique insight into the teleradiology industry. Their years of experience at a variety of different practices, including large private equity controlled teleradiology firms, allowed them to see what worked and what could be improved upon. This led them to create an organization that would benefit both radiologists and patients. Founded in 2013, the goal was to build a physician focused 24/7/365 teleradiology company that would provide a great working environment for radiologists, who would then be empowered to provide optimal service to our customers. Since our small beginning, over 50 physicians have joined our team to provide reads for over 300 sites in 30+ states. We strongly believe a team of teleradiologists focused on patient outcomes rather than corporate objectives results in superior quality and service. Our ownership and management philosophy has given Real Radiology the freedom to prioritize its physicians and patients, as well as establish processes and operations that allow us to accomplish the service level objectives important to our customers. These philosophies have resulted in our industry leading turnaround times and excellent service while maintaining high quality standards that set us apart. Real Radiology has a long-term vision to continue to prioritize both radiologists and patient care, creating a solution that is beneficial to everyone involved.
