About Real Training
The workplace is filled with a vast variety of individuals who have active lives involving interpersonal relationships. In the aftermath of mass shooting events involving domestic violence and/or stalking related nexuses, it is often discovered that information was known by one or more individuals within the workplace, who simply failed to relay the information. This lack of information sharing is rarely intentional, as it is a natural human instinct to mentally “downplay” information about potentially dangerous situations. If employees have been given active shooter training, they have only been instructed on what to do when the bullets start flying, rather than how to avoid the first bullet from being fired. Real Training focuses on improving the flow, process and ownership of information, that has the potential to proactively improve workplace safety and thus, avoid active shooter situations before they occur.
