About Realational Therapy Services
Hi there! My name is Heidi. I am a licensed professional clinical counselor and the owner of Realational Therapy. I use evidence based interventions in a 'real' way that feels most natural and applicable to the client so they are able to make long-term changes. No fluff, no homework (unless you really want it), and definitely no judgement. I like to incorporate humor when appropriate, and am skilled with helping clients connect to their core values. We can talk about what your goals are in therapy and I will tailor my approach to you, as long as it is within my scope. It is my goal to help you feel safe and encouraged when you are digging into difficult things and challenging yourself. I am trained in several approaches to therapy, but some of the most consistent interventions I draw from are Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and the Polyvagal Theory. I have completed both Level 1 and Level 2 trainings in the Gottman Method Couples Therapy and use several Gottman resources and interventions with couples to increase connection and trust, resolve conflict, and create shared meaning.
