Before becoming Realestateschool.org, we were formed in 1983 as Tape Ed Real Estate School. It was the first distance education school in Washington. After 10 years of teaching Washington Real Estate Fundamentals at his brokerage office and North Seattle Community College, Donald Gorman started our company. Since then we have become one of the leading providers of real estate education in the State of Washington. From the very beginning, the goal of Realestateschool.org (formerly Tape Ed) was to provide pre-agents, agents and brokers quality education at an affordable price. As the pioneer in distance education, we were the first real estate school to provide textbook and audio courses to agents at their brokerage offices. We have built a company with a multi-media approach to education that includes internet-based courses with online video classes, textbook and audio courses and DVD's. We offer real estate education that suits every learning style. In 1995, believing that computer based education was going to be the "school" of the future, Don registered www.realestateschool.org as a domain name. Four years later Realestateschool.org powered was launched. By 2005 we were the #1 school in clock hour education. As our school has expanded and our staff has grown to include tech support, programmers, website managers, editors and videographers; we have remained steadfast in our commitment to provide quality real estate education at a reasonable price. Over thirty years later that formula is still working for the thousands of Realestateschool.org students who are successfully completing our courses. Providing superior service has been the goal of Realestateschool.org from our first day of business over 30 years ago. Superior service is still our goal and the proof of our success is evidenced in our high rate of returning customers.
