Realize Bradenton is a nonprofit place-based economic development organization that brings people together to build a vibrant, healthy community using arts, culture, heritage, and food. Our work results in cultural, social, physical, educational, and economic revitalization that shapes a place where people want to live, work, play, and contribute. We deliver consistent results using cross-sector partnerships, creative campaigns, lively events, and the development of next generation great leaders. We realize possibilities and transform public places. Our work builds Bradenton as a unique cultural destination for students, residents and visitors through cross sector partnerships, creative collaborations, Millennial + Gen Z engagement, and lively events. We believe that: o Downtown is everyone's neighborhood o The arts, culture and heritage assets of our riverfront community distinguish us from other comparable cities, enhance quality of life, and stimulate economic activity o A vibrant Bradenton requires informed, engaged, and passionate citizens to help shape it. WORKING TOGETHER WORKS To create a welcoming community, we build cross sector partnerships: City of Bradenton, Manatee County, Chamber of Commerce, Bradenton Area Economic Development Corp., Manatee School District, Health Dept., Bradenton Area Convention + Visitors Bureau, local businesses, social service agencies, and cultural assets: South Florida Museum, Manatee Village Historical Park, Art Center, Village of the Arts, and Manatee Performing Arts Center. As we enter 2019, we build on the foundation of our first 10 years and look to grow our impact as an award winning organization. Our staff members strive to balance community, collaboration, innovation, and responsiveness with food and FUN. Our 85 events showcase our community assets.
