About Sundara Sundara Fawn, MFA, has been a professional artist, writer and mystic for more than 25 years. She completed her undergraduate and graduate studies in painting at Northern Illinois University with honors. Her unique talent is to channel the Divine through her artwork and bring forth inspirational writings. This special pairing of gifts leads to complementary works that are both beautiful and healing. In her personal life, her primary focus and deep passion is to seek absolute truth through meditation and spiritual practices. Another primary influence comes from the essence of nature. Through the communion found on daily hikes in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, she is continually inspired by the sermons given by the sacred voice of the woods. Fawn relays these messages through her writing, which she shares in a compelling and empathetic voice. Her works include commissioned soul portraits that serve as personal healing tools for greater consciousness. Each creation is accompanied by a written message she intuitively receives as the painting comes to life. Fawn’s art is recognized nationally and internationally and can be found on several book covers, CD jackets, cards, and in numerous publications. The card deck and case cover of Earth Magic by Steven D. Farmer (Hay House Publishing, 2009) features her artwork. She has also illustrated two children’s books. Fawn has been interviewed on The JoyStream TV, including four episodes in “The Incredible Women Series.” She has also been featured on local TV shows to share about her artistic and spiritual gifts.
