About Rebecca Hutchins Art

Art - Essential for Life March of 2020, right when COVID hit, I moved the family and dogs out of the city and into rural Northwest Ohio. I'm excited to have this amazing opportunity to have such beauty around me to inspire and drive my creativity. I am truly blessed. So here, now, I can take in the fresh air and create. I've been painting since I was about 10 years old so I always knew I wanted to go to art school. I studied fine art at Bowling Green State University and graduated with a BFA. Since then, I have worked as a graphic artist and also as a freelance painter. I have created numerous custom pieces for a variety of clients with differing tastes. Because of my commission experience, my work shows a variety of styles and techniques. Overall, I tend to use a substantial amount of textures. Sometimes it's modeling paste, sand or fabric.
