Rebel Group derived its namesake from its founders’ rich Irish history. The founders embody a long tradition of challenging the status quo. The legal sector is dramatically changing yet the legal services delivery model has remained largely intact. The Silver Tsunami is coming. The demographics of those practicing law are evolving. Over half of licensed lawyers in the US have 25 years of experience, or more. This group dominates the partnership ranks of BigLaw and has begun to strain the PPP. Unfortunately, there are few options available to these later-in-life lawyers to continue practicing their craft outside of the law firm. Continuing to provide legal services for corporate clients requires a sophisticated & expensive technology, security & administrative support structure. Having spent the last 25 years helping to improve & enhance business process operations at a litany of BigLaw firms, the founders of Rebel created a scalable infrastructure focused on security & driven by technology. This infrastructure can be leveraged to support a work from home (“WFH”) environment in a manner which addresses the changing demographics. We created & provide our scalable HUB to address the ever-increasing data & security requirements mandated by corporate clients. This infrastructure provides law firms with an alternative career path for a growing number of retirement eligible partners. It provides an opportunity for certain individuals to migrate toward a more manageable work load & improve the firm's PPP in the process. By focusing on providing experienced attorneys with the necessary infrastructure (hardware & software) needed to dispense the requisite legal services in a secure virtual environment at a far more compelling price point, the Rebel Group is delivering value. We are also supporting & promoting an alternative career path for a variety of attorneys & a soft landing not previously available in the legal sector.
