Recast Capital is a 100% women-owned venture capital platform that invests in and supports top-tier emerging fund managers, with a focus on diverse partnerships. The platform was founded by seasoned, institutionally-trained fund investors Courtney McCrea and Sara Zulkosky, and built to drive returns and create change in the venture industry. The core of the platform is a fund-of-funds providing LPs diversified exposure to top-performing emerging, diverse managers (US-based, Fund I-III), as well as access to a pipeline of tomorrow’s industry-leading franchises. As strong complements to the fund-of-funds, the platform also includes a tuition-free, virtual educational program called the Enablement Program, providing learning and development for emerging venture managers (109 funds have participated to date) and Recast Accelerate, a new program to support women- and nonbinary-led emerging managers in venture, including educational programming and $100k to be leveraged in support of their fund backend operations.
