Recovery Café San José creates community that supports healing from trauma, addiction, homelessness, and mental health challenges. Our loving accountability empowers growth and recovery. The benefits of Café Membership include: o Hot meals five days each week o Weekly Recovery Circles o Classes to learn job and life skills o Group activities to build social skills and inner strength o Connections to resources and partner agencies (housing, employment, health) o Relapse prevention & breaking free from addiction to drugs and alcohol Membership is free, and open to all, but there are a few requirements to maintain one’s status: o Be without drugs or alcohol for 24 hours before entering the Café o Attend one Recovery Circle each week o Give back by participating in Café chores (cleaning, serving meals, etc.) RCSJ is founded on the belief that every human being is precious, worthy of love and deserving of the opportunities to fulfill his or her potential.
