Recruitment Beats Cancer - Scotland, is a new fundraising initiative set-up in partnership with Cancer Research UK, to enable the Recruitment industry in Scotland to get together and raise money to fund new research and help beat childhood cancers, for good! With our founders having had to endure this terrible disease in their own family, they came to appreciate the huge amount of work that has been done to help develop treatments to manage and cure the cancer in their own son (so far). However, with literally hundreds of different types of cancer affecting over 1,500 more young people every year (and their families) there is a lot more research needed to stop children suffering from this horrible disease. Recruitment Beats Cancer was founded to help us all in the recruitment sector in Scotland to get involved and do something about it. We'll be organising a new major event and other fundraising initiatives across the year to enable recruitment businesses and individuals to make their own contribution and raise money and, hopefully while putting a little 'fun' into 'fundraising'!
