She has played a pivotal role in the cinematic realm, being featured in the 2023 biography/documentary "To End All War: Oppenheimer & the Atomic Bomb." The movie, directed by Christopher Cassel and distributed by NBC News Studios, delves into the true story of physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer's journey from a driven and ambitious scientist to a remorseful and tormented man struck hard by the gravity of his contributions to the infamous Manhattan Project. In this film, Ellen's insights contribute to the narrative centerpiece—the Trinity test in the New Mexico desert on July 16, 1945.
