About Recycling Lives Charity
We give people the skills, resources and opportunities they need to change their lives. And you can help us. Our programmes empower individuals and communities to increase their independence through rehabilitation, residential support, food redistribution and training. We support people with histories of offending, addiction, homelessness, unemployment as well as communities facing food insecurity. All our work benefits employers, businesses, prisons, funders and wider society too. 💚 Our rehabilitation programmes reduce reoffending and get ex-offenders into work and housing… ♻️ They also help businesses to create direct social value by managing their waste streams in our workshops. And support prison governors and probation workers to keep people out of prison. 🍽️ Our food redistribution programme delivers millions of meals to people facing food poverty… 🍏 It also helps small charities and community groups to lower their running costs. And food retailers and suppliers to redirect their surplus stock away from waste. 🛏️ Our residential programme helps men who’ve been homeless to regain their independence… And it connects employers with loyal, hard-working team members. 🧑🏭 📈 And our training programmes teach people to cook, better understand mental health, or get plant licences or certifications … They also give organisations access to accredited, experienced trainers for their own teams. 🧠 Want to be part of it?
