The RecyProcity App is a patent pending application that streamlines the recycling process offering innovative and efficient ways for users to redeem recyclable items. Officially launched in June of 2019, the app has 2 main features: 1- Drop & GO!, for beverage container redemption only, allows users to tally (or estimate) the number of items and bag(s) in the app, which will generate a label/order # that can be attached or written onto securely sealed bags. Users will select the desired redemption facility, at which time the users order will appear in that facilities "queue", informing them of the incoming order. Upon arrival at the facility, the user will simply inform the staff of the order arrival, drop the items off and leave. The facility can then verify and adjust, if necessary, the order and the funds are then deposited directly into the initiating users linked account. No waiting on long lines or spending extended periods of time inserting individual items into a machine. 2-The RecyProcity Exchange is a function allowing users to post recyclable items, location and either an "asking" or "offering" price . All other app users can view posts via beacons on a GPS enabled map and negotiate a monetary amount, likely below market value, making each user profitable: the posting user can recycle items from home and make money, perhaps not 100% total redemption value but nonetheless the process is simple. The receiving user can then take the items to a proper redemption facility for the full amount, coming out profitable as well. Users can list an offering price if recyclable/non-recyclable bulk items need to be removed from their location urgently. This allows users a competitive advantage over expensive waste hauler fees and possible traveling to a municipality dump site for bulk items that can not be thrown out with the ordinary trash. Anything can be listed on the exchange, beverage containers, metals, appliances, building materials, ect.
