About Red Beard Barbell Club
Red Beard Barbell Club was founded by Charlie Knight in 2017 as a weightlifting coach wanting to create a brand to improve the standard of strength training and coaching across the industry. In January 2019, Red Beard Barbell Club officially opened in its first physical gym in Holyport, Maidenhead. By the end of that year, he had expanded the coaching offerings to include weightlifting, powerlifting, and strongman. Further to this, Red Beard also offers seminars and workshops from Charlie himself, as well as professional athletes within the industry such as Adam Bishop and Bill Kazmaier. Since then, Red Beard Barbell Club has grown into a premier training facility for athletes across all three sports. Our athletes have competed at local events and have even brought home medals from international competitions! At Red Beard Barbell Club, we are dedicated to helping athletes of all levels reach their strength and power goals. Whether you are just starting out or are an experienced competitor, our experienced coaches will work with you to develop a personalized training plan that helps you achieve your goals. So if you're looking to build strength and power, come train with us at Red Beard Barbell Club!
