Red Bird Preconstruction Services LLC was founded in 2023 as a NCDOT women-owned disadvantaged business enterprise and NCDOA HUB certified business providing construction program and project management services. Through principled planning and meticulous management, Red Bird will be an advocate to protect project viability and client interests through program development, design phase management, budget creation, cost tracking, value engineering, and construction planning. Red Bird helps clients mitigate project risks and achieve cost certainty through cross disciplinary collaboration and an over-the-shoulder approach from project inception through construction start-up. Services include, but are not limited to: - design-phase scheduling, planning, and management - estimate review, analysis, and recommendations - 2D and 3D building quantification by CSI division, building system, or bid package - complete estimating services at any design phase - constructability reviews at each design milestone deliverable - milestone cost review, analysis, and recommendations - value engineering review, analysis, and recommendations - GMP review, analysis, and recommendations - solicitation and procurement assistance; i.e. RFP creation, qualification review and assessment, etc.
