Welcome to RED Friday Talks! We are dedicated to providing free and accessible peer support training to first responders, veterans, their families, and anyone affected by trauma. Our program was developed over decades of lived experience peer support in emergency services. Everything that you experience here will work in business, organizational and family settings. Our Mission: To empower individuals with the tools and knowledge to build strong peer support networks. To foster resilience and well-being in those who serve and sacrifice for our communities. Level 1: Building the Foundation (Free) Our Level 1 training is a comprehensive video program designed to equip you with the essential skills for providing and receiving peer support. This program has been instrumental in establishing successful peer support teams within: Fire Departments Public Safety Agencies Military Personnel What You'll Learn: The importance of peer support in addressing trauma and stress Active listening and communication techniques Recognizing signs of emotional distress Self-care strategies for peer supporters Building a supportive and confidential environment Who Should Attend (Level 1): First responders (Police, Firefighters, and EMTs) Veterans Military personnel Family members of those in service professions Those affected by narcissistic abuse or moral injury Anyone interested in learning peer support skills Level 2: Practical Application and Certification (Paid) For those seeking a deeper dive, our Level 2 training provides practical application exercises and certification.
