Coming from a background of building, consulting, construction, and quantity surveying across New Zealand, helping people to understand construction one way or another has always been our sole focus. We LOVE the construction industry, we live it and breathe it every day. We have spent years working alongside builders, home owners and other consultants assisting with bridging the gap between the physical elements of a property, and those who need to understand how to fix it, price it, or build it. Working as consultants in the building industry, we were constantly coming across people who had building reports completed that raised more questions than answers. Feeling their frustration, and the frustration of the consultants working with them such as their lawyers and brokers and real estate agents, we felt there had to be a better way. Filling a report with more discussion about the grass growing in the gutters, than if the home is sound has bewildered those in the buying and selling property game for many years. This has also created hurdles for those particularly in the first home buyer space. We decided to create a business where people could have a report that captured their needs, where they only paid for what they needed reporting on. Why are we doing this? To keep things simple. Buying and selling a property can be a stressful time, and we decided with everything that we knew, that we wanted to be part of making that easier for everyone involved.
