About Red River Restorations
Our company formed in 2003. We are a group of wood workers, craftsmen and preservationists who love quality, craftsmanship, and good materials. There was a need for this kind of work so we began making wood screens for vintage windows, handcrafted screen doors, “craftsman style” entry doors, custom outbuildings and restoring historic wood windows. Everything is custom made, and in many cases, we replicate the craftsmanship, materials and design from the 1800s and early 1900s. We reside in a 1935 building in Red River Street near Hyde Park, in Austin, TX and we have a second wood shop on Airport Road in east Austin. We are always looking for talented craftsmen.
