From humble beginnings, Red Winches and has grown into a supplier of highly engineered recovery equipment for the UK and rest of the world. Why we do what we do.... RED Winches wants to challenge the accepted ‘Status Quo’ to share with others our love for creative design and passion for Engineering’ Our modern, fully equipped production facilities are a far cry from the small wooden office in which our first off-road winch was conceived and crafted. We always wanted the brand to be loved for its engineering and design. To allow people to own their own piece of British engineering. However, while we may have grown, we've never forgotten the values, customer focus and attention to detail that have made the Red Winches brand and its uncompromising products what they are today. A Military Pedigree..... The off-road competition winches we now produce were born from a requirement received for a high performance hydraulic winch on a military vehicle in 2008. We still continue to service our military partners, and continual looking at better ways to support them and their equipment needs. Designed & Manufactured in Britain Red Winches are British-built, with all mechanical components being made in-house. With design, manufacture and supply being dealt with under one roof, it means orders can be fulfilled efficiently. It also means we fully understand every element of our products to they can endure and perform in the most hostile and demanding conditions all over the world.
