About Redberth Croft

Redberth Croft CIC is a social enterprise based in Pembrokeshire, dedicated to fostering mental health and wellbeing through sustainable agriculture, outdoor therapy, and community engagement. Founded by a military veteran with lived experience of mental health struggles, and inspired by the founder’s sister, who has Down's syndrome, Redberth Croft CIC aims to provide a safe, inclusive space where individuals can find purpose and connection. Our community farm offers a variety of therapeutic activities, including gardening therapy, animal-assisted therapy, and creative arts workshops, particularly for vulnerable groups such as veterans, individuals with learning disabilities, and young people with complex needs. In addition to supporting mental and physical health, we provide practical skills training in horticulture and agriculture, empowering participants to build confidence and gain employable skills. Key projects include “Hedging Your Vets”, which trains veterans in traditional hedgerow restoration and supports their mental health through nature-based activities, and our market garden, which provides fresh produce while offering opportunities for community development and environmental sustainability. We collaborate with local organizations, including The VC Gallery, The Tenby Project, and the local authority, to deliver day services and build a strong network of support. As we grow, we are working to create a sustainable future for the community, developing a hub for green health initiatives and expanding our impact through various environmental conservation efforts.
