About Redcliffe International (Shipping) Limited
• Redcliffe was formed in 1974 as Redcliffe Roadways Limited, a British privately owned company specialising in overland trailer movements (both refrigerated and general cargoes) to the Middle East and grew to be the largest UK operator in the region. • In the early 1980s, the company had developed into a “specialist” worldwide freight forwarder, focusing in particularly in the handling of bespoke project and charter work and their capabilities being extended to reach the more volatile regions of the globe. They were awarded long term contracts in Government, Defence, Military and Explosive type work and began to invest and develop this field of expertise. • In 2008 Redcliffe became part of the Charles Kendall Group, established in 1954 and also a British, privately owned company. This partnership enabled Redcliffe to make significant developments to the company infrastructure to include a major expansion to the vehicle fleet and warehousing/storage sites. • Charles Kendall, with their Group head office in the prestigious Albert Court, London, have many owned offices globally involving in a wide variety of business activities, to include companies specialising in packing, warehousing, procurement, exhibitions, trading and aviation, and also sharing an interest in logistics, they have their own Airfreight offices near Heathrow, London.
