About Rede DLBC Lisboa
Lisbon Community-Led Local Development Network, established in February 7th 2015, is a bottom-up co-governance network, managing the Local Development Strategy for Lisbon Priority Territories (BIP/ZIP), training, empowering and funding local community projects. The network has +180 member organizations, mainly non-profit like local associations, district councils, national organisations, foundations and universities. Based on the growing collaboration with civic organizations, in 2013 the City of Lisbon used the opportunity offered by the Community-Led Local Development (CLLD) instrument according to the Regulation (EU) Nº 1303/2013 of the European Parliament and the Council of 17 December 2013, we obtained the status of middle-level manager as Urban CLLD. Focusing our intervention on Education, Employment and Inclusion, we are commissioned to manage aprox. 4M euro of ERDF/ESF for local initiatives and 1M euro for internal budget on staff and direct activities until 2020. We are also running several other projects on empowering the local organizations and the BIP/ZIP territories, economic and social-territorial cohesion. Lisbon CLLD Network iniciative is part of the "URBACT’s Good Practice - Lisbon Local Development Strategy" and is envolved in the "Com.Unity.Lab - URBACT’s Transfer Network", supporting other European cities to adopt similar approaches.
