About Redearth Education

Redearth Education is a volunteer-led UK charity and Ugandan NGO, working to help empower Uganda's burgeoning population and harness the country's potential through high-quality education. We work with local governments to provide quality training and support to primary and pre-primary teachers in public schools, which are often remote, overcrowded and under-resourced. Since 2007, our education projects have reached over 60,000 children across Uganda. Our training programmes help build the skills, motivation and confidence of rural teachers. This is enabling more teachers to meet the needs of every child in their class, improve learning outcomes & prepare the next generation with skills for the 21st century market. We are working towards local sustainability, building a highly-skilled, income-generating Ugandan team to sustain our collaborative work with the Ugandan government and to deliver and advance the national education system.
