Redemption Earned's mission is to identify, assist, and represent worthy individuals who have spent decades behind bars, demonstrated they are transformed, and earned parole or work release. Redemption Earned, Inc is a grassroots, non-profit organization dedicated to providing services for worthy individuals that address fundamental deficiencies in the Alabama parole process without diminishing the public’s safety or minimizing the crimes that were committed. With such services in place, our parole system could appropriately weigh rehabilitation and redemption for worthy inmates while continuing to protect the public. We provide free legal services and re-entry planning to parole-eligible inmates over age 65, have serious medical conditions, have served 25 or more years on their sentences, and pose little risk to public safety. Through our WIN Program, we train law students to advocate for our clients and Alabama's incarcerated population, ensuring future generations of attorneys will continue our mission. Redemption Earned serves the least, the last, and the lost.
