About Redemption Seminary
Redemption Seminary provides quality adult theological education at an affordable price for all Christians. Quality Quality education is highly relational and personalized to each student’s gifting and context. This means that professors are refocused from lecturing (now provided through recordings) to individualized mentoring locally or online. Quality education is relevant to the student’s calling and context. We believe schools are made for students, not the reverse. Degree requirements are kept minimal to reduce the amount of contextually irrelevant coursework. Students choose their programs and mentors according to their needs and contexts. Finally, quality means that all students are well-resourced. A custom theological library is included in each degree program. Since the library is digital, all students, no matter how remote, have equal library benefits. A strong theological library is the core of every program for every student and used in every course. Affordable Part of responsible stewardship means pricing the programs affordably and transparently (including all books, materials, fees, etc.). To serve all Christians from diverse theological traditions, Redemption Seminary seeks partners. It freely shares successful educational models with other seminaries. It seeks to partner with churches, which can provide additional revenue streams as they use their own staff to train their own members. Such a distributed approach will improve theological education across the board and around the world.
