Redical was founded in 2020 by long-term business partners, Mikko Syrjanen and Petteri Barman, co-founders of Aalto Invest and former Co-Heads of Real Assets at Man Group Plc. We are an ambitious, innovative and experienced team with an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for making places thrive. Core assets Our portfolio comprises three core assets: Victoria Leeds; The Liberty Romford; and Clayton Square Liverpool, which total almost 1.2m sq ft of retail, F&B and leisure and have a combined annual footfall of 32m. While very different in nature, the assets share the same characteristics we look for: they are in central, high footfall locations and possess strong fundamentals and unrealised potential. This is what makes them core. Alignment of interests We invest directly into our assets which reinforces our alignment of interests with clients. We make money when our investors make money, not when we ask them to spend it. Every investment is calculated and de-risked as much as possible. We act decisively using technology and data to facilitate better measurement and increase efficiency and quality control. Dynamic management We consider the management of assets as optimising the relationship between offer, environment and experience. The three components are interlinked and interdependent, but crucially, we consider them from the perspective of our stakeholders, running each optimally. Transformation through accumulation Significant enhancements to commercial performance and value can be achieved not by major cap-ex investments, but via our unique process of transformation through accumulation, where we focus on making a number of smaller, but no less significant, changes and enhancements to our assets. We are uniquely placed to do this due to our origins as an entrepreneurial business with an institutional understanding, our people, and our approach. As a result, we deliver better financial performance than our peers.
