About Redwood High School Foundation

WHO WE ARE: The Redwood High School Foundation (RHSF) is a nonprofit, 501(c) (3), tax-exempt, organization. The Foundation Board is comprised of current school parents and is supported by the Principal, the PTSA and members of the Alumni Association. RHSF is responsible for fundraising, disbursement of contributions, financial accounting and fund administration. WHAT WE DO: The Foundation is designed to solicit and administer school donations from families and the community. Donations go directly to support programs, equipment, activities, and supplies in the areas of Academics, Arts and Athletics. HOW WE DO IT The Redwood funding process is simple and direct: teachers, administrators, students, parents, and coaches are able to make grant requests twice a year (fall and spring) when they have an unmet program need. A team of parent volunteers, faculty, students, and administrators evaluates each request and allocates funds quickly and directly, meeting needs in the classrooms and art rooms or on the stages and playing fields at the school. The Foundation also raises funds for larger, capital expenditures such as Ghilotti Field and the Wellness Center. Every Redwood student directly benefits from your generous donations to the Foundation.
